Not sure what your prom dress or suit needs? Hesitant about what it'll cost? Schedule a quick 15-minute consultation where we'll assess your outfit, talk through the alterations required, and provide a clear timeline and cost estimate. This is especially helpful if you're on a budget, still growing (we see you, high schoolers), or bought your dress online and aren't sure how much work it needs. While it's not required, it's a great way to plan ahead and eliminate surprises.
Single-Fitting Alterations
Is your prom outfit like 90% perfect, but in need of a few small adjustments to get it to 100% prom ready? This option is best for basic alterations that need just one appointment, like a simple hem, taking in or letting out the bodice, strap adjustments, or tailoring suit sleeves and pant length. These alterations take a minimum of one week from your fitting to completion, so schedule at least a week before prom.
Two-Fitting Alterations
If you need both bodice work (taking in or letting out) and a hem on your dress, or both jacket and pant alterations on your suit, you'll need two fittings. Here's why: once we alter one part of the garment, it can affect how everything else falls, so we need you to come back for a second fitting to ensure everything is exactly right. Each fitting requires a minimum of one week, so schedule at least two weeks before prom.
Three-Fitting Alterations
For prom outfits that need significant resizing (more than 2 sizes different) or a couple of complex alterations, you'll need three fittings. This ensures we can make major changes while still achieving a perfect, comfortable fit that you'll feel confident wearing all night. Plan for at least three weeks from your first fitting to prom night.
Prom Consignment Options
We’re currently accepting and selling prom gowns that are stylish, on-trend, and typically three years old or newer. Dresses should be in excellent, near-new condition and freshly cleaned. While we may occasionally consign older gowns, please note that the final sale price will reflect their age and condition.
