The heart and hands behind Saylor Sewing.
I grew up in California watching my grandmother create magic with a needle and thread — lessons that absolutely shaped me and who I’d become. My great-grandmother was also a seamstress, so it runs in the family! After joining a fashion design program in high school and working professionally for years, I took a leap in 2015 and opened my own alterations business here in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Why Nebraska? In short, I was looking for a fresh start. A place where I could build something meaningful, and honestly, a community that values hard work and genuine relationships as much as I do. My intuition was spot on. After living and working in Nebraska for 11 years, I started Saylor Sewing. Our customers-turned-friends are the biggest reason I love what I do.
