Beginner Sewing Lessons

A 6-lesson course for ages 8 & up. Students will learn the basics of sewing including safety, terminology, various stitches, hand & machine sewing basics, and using a pattern. This course will give students the knowledge and confidence to sew anything! 

Course Length: 6 one-hour lessons, once a week 

Includes: 

• Guided use of our Janome machines featuring speed control

• 6 lessons

• 4 simple guided projects

• 6 patterns (valued over $25)

• Beginners sewing kit (valued at $25)

• Sample fabrics and thread

 

Supplies not included:

Specialty fabrics (all fabric include has been supplied by donations)
